BAC: British Art Center copy bound in contemporary half calf and brown linen. On the front endpapers, a previous owner has drawn a plan of a vegetable garden in six square plots, with indications of where each plant will be grown. On the two ensuing pages, the owner notes the months (from March to August) in which each plant will be sowed. The rear pastedown bears a clipping from Gardener's Magazine, May 1877, on "The strawberry crop."
