Each playing card (a hand-colored engraving, 10.5 x 6.7 cm) depicts the resident of a given region in local costume. In the YCBA copy, the set includes 12 cards for Africa, 13 cards for the Americas ("Amérique Septale.", "Amérique Russe", etc.), 10 cards for Asia, 3 cards for Australia and Oceania, and 21 cards for Europe. Cards are numbered, with gaps and repetitions in the numbering. They are accompanied by a "Table nominative des cartes composant cet atlas."
The seven hand-colored maps, each approximately 15 x 19 cm, comprise: Mappe-monde, Afrique, Amérique, Asie, Europe, Océanie, and an abstract map depicting the "Géographie phisique de la terre."
The printed volume includes 2 volumes in 1 (144, 126 pages).
"Quant aux figures, MM. Leloi et Couché ont bien voulu me préter le secours de leur talent pour le dessin et la gravure."--Page 6. The maps are engraved by Berthe, after Choizeau.
Description based on a copy of the game at the Yale Center for British Art which may not include a complete set of the costume cards.
