On one side, the jug depicts Hector of Troy ("Hector van Droie"), in armor; on the other, King Arthur ("Cvnnig Artvs") with armor and wide-brimmed had.
Henrywood depicts a similar jug with green ground that "may have been made by Liddle Elliot & Son" in 1868.
Impressed with the numbers '33' and '68' on the bottom.
Without a lid, but two holes for a lid hinge are present.
