Broadside advertising the engraving "Death of Captain James Cook," after a drawing by George Carter, published in London by Laurie & Whittle, dated May 12, 1794. Broadside text describes Cook's arrival at Kealakekua, his skirmishes with the Hawaiians, and his death at Kaawaloa as portrayed in the engraving. Several figures present in the engraving are identified in the text, including "Mr. Roberts whose portrait as an officer in the pinnace may be seen."
