BAC: British Art Center copy 1 is in the original 10 parts, in printed wrappers; the parts do not include the 10 etchings of Beccles. Some of the parts bear the autograph of the Rev. George Turner. This is probably George Turner (1765 or 1766-1839), Rector of Kettleburgh, Suffolk. Turner's name appears on the original list of subscribers. Part no. 10 includes two prospectuses for the second series (never published). Has boxed with it Davy's A set of etchings illustrative of Beccles Church, and other Suffolk antiquities (1818).
BAC: British Art Center copy 2 is a large paper copy; bound in later quarter black morocco and marbled boards. The 10 etchings of Beccles are present (with the title page for their original publication in 1818). With the armorial bookplate of Charles Barclay, of Henstead House; Barclay's name appears on the list of original subscribers (for a large paper copy). Has bound with it Davy's original drawings for all 70 etchings (cataloged separately; see link herewith). Each drawing is affixed to a blank leaf facing its corresponding etching.
