Prospectus for Thomas Malton's A picturesque tour through the cities of London and Westminster, illustrated with the most interesting views, accurately delineated and executed in aquatinta by Thomas Malton (London : Thomas Malton, 1792-1801; ESTC T100665; Abbey, J.R. Scenery 204).
"Size of the plates to be twenty inches long by fourteen wide; two to be published every four months, price half-a-guinea, to be paid on delivery. Specimens of the subjects intended, to be seen at Mr. Malton's, no. 8 Carlisle Street, Soho; where subscriptions are received; also at any of the capital print-shops in town. Subscribers may depend on having the first and best impressions. There will be some impressions taken off on Imperial paper, and tinted from the original drawings, price, mounted, two guineas a pair."
